Guided by the expertise of Takapoto Estate's Head Wine Maker, Alex Coldicutt, you'll embark on an exploration of our finest selection of wines, featuring the elegant notes of Pinot Noir, the rich complexity of Chardonnay, and the refreshing allure of our Rosé varietals. Prepare to savour each sip in the company of a small, intimate group, surrounded by the natural beauty of the estate.

The range includes the four exquisite RSRV Cuvées: 4.5, Rosé Foujita, Blanc de Blancs 2014 and Blanc de Noirs 2018. The RSRV collection represents the only range of five 100% Grand Cru cuvées, showcasing the pinnacle of Maison Mumm’s terroir and craftsmanship.

Behind the bar, the talented team from Lemon Lime & Butter will be mixing up an enticing range of cocktails, alongside your favourite wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options.

Indulge in a delightful High Tea while watching the prestigious Anne Symes Showjumping Derby at the Takapoto Classic 2025. Your ticket grants you exclusive access to the Marquee, where you’ll enjoy prime views of the Derby as it unfolds in the GH Mumm Grass Arena.

On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a complimentary glass of GH Mumm Champagne, and the afternoon will continue with a bottomless selection of exquisite Zealong teas. The High Tea menu includes a delicious array of bite-sized savouries, sandwiches, cakes, and desserts, served on high stands and platters.

For those wishing to enhance their experience, the Marquee bar offers additional refreshments, including Tea Cocktails and GH Mumm Mimosas, perfectly paired with your High Tea treats. After the Derby, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the Corporate Teams Event, which begins at 3:30 pm.

Your ticket includes a sumptuous three-course meal, accompanied by appetisers and two bottles of GH Mumm Champagne per table. On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a platter of carefully selected treats to kick-start your day of fine hospitality. As the Silver Tour begins at 1:00 pm, followed by the Gold Tour at 3:00 pm, you can immerse yourself in a day of elite showjumping while savouring delicious food and drinks.

The Takapoto Classic runs from 18th - 23rd February 2024. Entry is FREE from 18th - 21st February, so come early and make the most of this incredible event!

Enjoy the ultimate showjumping experience with Premier Seating, offering a spacious seat and table with uninterrupted views of the GH Mumm Grass Arena, positioned just outside the front of the Marquee. With your group of up to four people, relax as you share an antipasto platter and a bottle of GH Mumm Champagne.

While Premier Seating provides a fantastic vantage point, there is no shade, so we recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Please refrain from bringing umbrellas as they may obstruct the view for others. The Marquee bar will be open, offering additional beverages and a snack menu, though please note that there may be a wait during the VIP Grand Prix Lunch service.
