These terms apply to the Takapoto Estate website, to bookings made with us, and to orders placed through our online shop. By using the site or making a booking you accept them.

You may use this site for your own personal or business purposes. You may not copy, republish or use its content commercially without our written permission. The words, photographs, illustrations, logos and design on this site belong to Takapoto Estate or are used with permission.
We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and details may change without notice.
Accommodation, tours, tastings and event bookings are confirmed once we have acknowledged them in writing and received any deposit we have asked for. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation terms are set out in your booking confirmation and vary by the type of booking. Please read them at the time of booking.
We may need to change or cancel a booking because of weather, animal welfare, safety, or circumstances outside our control. If we do, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund of amounts paid.
Takapoto Estate is a working farm, vineyard and equestrian venue. There are animals, machinery, uneven ground and water on the property. Please follow the instructions of our staff, stay within the areas open to visitors, and supervise children at all times. Entry is at your own risk to the extent the law allows.
Orders are an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept your order and confirm dispatch. If an item is unavailable or has been priced incorrectly, we will contact you and offer a replacement, a refund, or the chance to cancel.
Wine and spirits are sold only to people aged 18 years and over. It is an offence under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 to buy alcohol for anyone under 18. We may ask for proof of age on delivery, and delivery may be refused if it cannot be provided or if the recipient appears intoxicated.
We deliver within New Zealand. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Someone aged 18 or over must be present to receive an alcohol delivery.
If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us within a reasonable time and we will repair, replace or refund it. Please keep the packaging where you can. We are not obliged to accept returns simply because you have changed your mind, though we will always try to help.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where you acquire goods or services from us for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, and sections 9, 12A and 13 of the Fair Trading Act are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with any booking or order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Our site links to services we do not control, including our online shop platform and booking providers. We are not responsible for their content or their terms; please read theirs when you use them.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time of your booking or order is the one that applies.
