Yes - absolutely! There’s a variety of horses and riders attending the Practice Days, including greener horses. The Practice Days are a low-pressure environment to help horses and riders prepare for competition or the summer season ahead. You’ll notice the rider’s standard of dress is more casual also. The cafe and bar are open, and this still presents a fantastic opportunity to spectate if you’re curious about the sport, or simply want to enjoy an opportunity to visit Takapoto Estate.
