Wine Tastings atThe Cabana.
Just 25 minutes from central Cambridge in the heart of the Waikato, Takapoto Estate is a wine-tasting gem worth the drive. Settle into The Cabana — beside the fire in winter, out in the sun come summer — and take in the estate's expansive landscaping.
Open Saturdays, eleven until four — no bookings required. For tastings outside these hours, private groups, weekdays, or special occasions, a phone call ahead is all it takes. Groups of more than ten, please call or email ahead to let us know.
The kitchen runs a short, considered menu: sourdough pizzas, small plates, and platters.

From the gate at 90 Finlay Road, head straight ahead on the main driveway. Signage will guide you to The Cabana carpark.
