Please note you must have as stable or covered yard as horses are not allowed to tie to trucks or floats. You will either have paid for stables, or the horses can stay on the truck/float.

Our team are working tirelessly to keep the grounds and in particular the sand arena tidy and well groomed. This is challenging when manure is left. It holds up classes as our tractor drivers are having to jump in and out to collect manure. Please tidy up after your horse.

Please muck out your stables at the end of the show otherwise cleaning fees may apply.

The café will be open on Monday to purchase shower cards.

The showers work on a swipe card entry. They are $40 each with a refund of $20 when you return the card. These cards are programmed specific to this event.

*Note that these only work for this show, so please ensure you hand them back to receive your refund.

Wristband Allocation – Each rider will receive two General Admission wristbands, valid for weekend access (Saturday and Sunday only). Wristbands are required for entry on the weekend.

Additional Wristbands – Riders may purchase additional General Admission wristbands for up to four more people, at a discounted rate of $15 per day (Saturday and/or Sunday) through Main-Events, which must be bought prior to the start of the show. Additional wristbands may also be purchased on the day from the secretary at a rate of $25 each. Wristbands can be collected from the secretary’s office and must be worn at all times while on the grounds during the weekend.

No one other than Takapoto Estate commissioned photographers are allowed to shoot inside arenas.

Due to our Resource Consent there is to be no truck parties. If you are involved in any truck gathering and noise gets out of control you may be asked to leave the grounds and you may not be able to compete. Unfortunately council have been really strict with us on this so please help us to keep the noise under control.

If you’re on the One NZ (Vodafone) network you may experience connectivity issues once you arrive at Takapoto Estate. This issue only affects the One NZ network. For this reason, if you're a One NZ customer, it’s a good idea to download any digital event tickets to your device before your arrive so we can grant you swift entry.

Under no circumstances can you bring your own alcohol in to our licensed area (beyond truck park). Alcohol will be confiscated as this jeopardises our license and therefore the entire show. If you have alcohol in your trucks, it must be consumed in the vehicle.

As much as we love dogs, as per previous years, this is a dog free show.

We run as a cashless show, you will only be able to pay for things using Eftpos or a Credit Card.
