A glorious rendition, the bouquet shows dark berry, smoked game, tapenade, fine leather, and assorted nut aromas. It's wonderfully weighted and plush in the mouth, delivering velvety texture and layers of fine tannins, making it sturdy yet silky with a lengthy, gratifying finish. At its best: now to 2029.

This Pinot Noir is now approaching its peak with eight years of ageing under its vinous belt and a pronounced tertiary flavour profile with earthy aged spice and old sandalwood aromas adding depth and interest. Fruit flavours are tucked into the background with whiffs of red cherries and red plums. The grapes in this Pinot Noir were sourced from vines planted above the iconic Felton Road at Legend Terrace in Bannockburn. This wine drinks well and is best enjoyed now - or soon.
