Discover the spirit of Takapoto Estate in every bottle of our boutique Forager's Gin. This exceptional gin is the result of a unique collaboration with Elsewhere Gin, blending the art of distillation with the natural beauty of our Estate.
Crafted with the utmost care, we’ve foraged the finest botanicals from our native bush and market garden to create a gin that’s as distinctive as the land it comes from. Our journey began deep within Takapoto Estate, where we gathered native treasures like kawakawa, red manuka flower, horopito, lemonwood, kauri gum, and pohutukawa seeds. We then turned to our vibrant market garden, selecting fresh orange and lemon blossoms, zest, rosemary, lemon thyme, sage, oregano, and honey.
These carefully chosen ingredients are distilled with pristine Takapoto water and blended with a base spirit of distilled Rosé wine made from grapes grown right here on the Estate. To finish, the gin undergoes a brief maturation in new French oak wine barrels, adding a subtle hint of spice and complexity.
The result is a gin that is both elegant and refreshing. Perfect for a sunset sip, Forager's Gin is a true celebration of nature.
