February 2020 sees the return of New Zealand's premier A-list Show Jumping event
What to expect
Takapoto Estate Show Jumping is a two week event for all ages showcasing the best of New Zealand and Australia's riders at Mitch and Kate Plaw's spectacular 600 acre property on the shores of Lake Karapiro in the Waikato. The show is held annually between late January and early February.
The event aims to bring a taste of elite European show jumping to New Zealand equestrian fans. As well as New Zealand riders, we also have competitors flying from as far as Australia, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Mexico and Brazil.
Entry Mon-Fri is free and no tickets are required. General admission passes are available for the general public on Saturday and Sunday each weekend. Children under 10 are free every day except the VIP lunch.
Public sales tickets are available on the Eventfinder website. Tickets can also be purchased on-site at the Takapoto gates but an extra cost will apply.
Food trucks will provide a wide array of food options and a public bar is also available during the day on-site.
